Microfiber is largely ultrabest synthetic fibers. They weigh much less than 0.1 denier.

There are 2 methods to check the thickness of your microfiber towels.

1. Weigh the towel by using GSM scale and its value atleast 250 GSM.

2.Take the towel outside in the sun and Stretch the towel while holding it up to the sun. Check Does it stretch easily? Can you see the sun through it like cheesecloth?

Important things for selecting a microfiber cloth for car cleaning.

1. Towel density:Measures of fibers in square inch. For a good Quality microfiber cloth it is between 95000 to 225000. In generally says more number of fibres absorb more water.

2. Polyester and polyamide ratio is very important. Consider the ratio 70:30. Some  towels have 100% polyester or have low polyamide content. It’s  absorbency capability is low.

3. Weave and plush-ness are another parameter. Depending on the specific task the cloth is designed to perform, the fiber ends may be hooked for cleaning, feathered type for polishing and glass cleaning and tufted type for drying.

4. Microfiber thread that isn’t split then don’t select that microfiber cloth because it gives opposite action.

5. Strands in between 0.1 to 0.2 denier are the good quality microfiber cloth for car cleaning.

6. Take towels of the exact same fabric and the darker towel will not feel as plush or soft.

7. For glass cleaning or polishing, The towel should be 100 percentage lint- free.
